to the homepage of the ASHRAE Technical Committee 8.1.
This
Technical Committee is concerned with the design, performance, features,
and operating characteristics of all types of positive displacement
compressors for use with refrigerants.
Positive
displacement compressors include reciprocating,
rotary, screw, and scroll,
compressors. See ASHRAE Wiki for additional brief description of
compressor type.
If you
would like to get involved in TC 8.01 related issues at the Society
level, read through the pages of this site, attend the biannual meetings,
or contact our committee chair.
